The spiral bevel gears are cut
and tested on Gleason machines. The forward and
pionion gears are made from a better grade alloy
to provide extended life.

completed hundreds of hours of stationary dock
testing.

The water pump
impellers are made of high quality, long lasting,
neoprene rubber.

The prop and driveshafts are
friction welded bimetal. The gearbox end of the
shaft is comprised of hardened alloy 8620, while
the shaft end exposed to the elements is 17-14PHSS
